Biography

I was born in Florida and lived there until age 25 when I moved to Tennessee and have lived here ever since.

The first church I ever attended of my own free will was a fundamental church in Kissimmee. I did meet Christ there, but only as a Savior who wanted to save me, but also wanted to impose a ton of rules on me. Now I know Him as the One who loves me with a crazy, humanly incomprehensible love!

When I was 17, I worked at the Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World. A dream job, such fun for a teenager! Other jobs I’ve held include clerk in a bulk mail room for a small college, teaching assistant at a Christian school, Avon Lady, Tupperware representative, retail sales, bookkeeper and postal carrier. My last “public” job was as data entry clerk that grew into inventory control clerk/systems admin for a convenience store chain.

While working there, God put me on my back — literally. I had ruptured a disk in my back. While resting at home before surgery, and finding TV too boring for words, I started studying the Bible for myself, digging deep. I heard God speaking to me very plainly, calling me to full-time service to Him. Funny thing was, the service he was calling me into — the position didn’t exist at the time. He worked it out and I’ve never regretted that choice.

In 2003, God called my husband and I to join a group of others to start a new fellowship in Townsend, and Church of the Cove was born. It’s been an amazing ride! I’m amazed at all the things He’s done and the visions He’s given us of things to come.

Now I serve as the Ministry Assistant for the church and also own my business working as a scopist. E-mail me, I’ll explain that one. I get to work from my home office most of the time and love it!
